World Environment Day 2025 Celebration.

In celebration of World Environment Day, Seth Sarana – Caritas Colombo, together with the parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Tewatta Ragama, organized a meaningful program that included :

🛑Cleaning of the church premises
🛑Planting of long-term trees 🌳
🛑An awareness session on environmental protection and the importance of trees, delivered by Rev. Fr. Balagalla OP🌱

This day reminded us of our Christian duty to protect and care for creation. It was a beautiful example of faith in action for the environment. Let’s continue to nurture the Earth with love and responsibility!
