A comprehensive training program

A comprehensive training program was conducted on the 26th of June 2025 at the Village Knowledge Center (VKC) in Raddolugama for the Food Security leader farmers of the Archdiocese. The sessions aimed to enhance knowledge and practical skills in key livelihood areas. Beekeeping training was conducted by Mrs. Rasika (AI Ja-Ela DS Division), Inland Fisheries session was led by Mr. Sampath (DO NAQDA), Crop Clinic and Entrepreneurship Development were facilitated by the project coordinator and the agronomist.

Under livestock rearing 400 Chick’s was distributed for selected farmers at North Payagala & Kuda Payagala. The Chick’s was distributed by Fr. Rangana Asst. Director Seth Sarana, Fr.
